Luminii provides Commercial Due Diligence to YFM on its investment in Aura

Luminii are delighted to have provided Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) to YFM on its recent investment in Aura Life (Aura), a digital provider of funeral plans and end-of-life services. 

Aura operates a digital-first, asset-light model, enabling customers to arrange funeral plans and direct cremations online. By working with a trusted national network of partners rather than owning physical infrastructure, the business focuses on delivering a high-quality customer experience while maintaining operational efficiency.

The UK funeral market is at a point of structural change, shaped by regulation, digital adoption and evolving consumer expectations. Customers are increasingly looking for simpler, more transparent options, alongside the ability to plan and manage arrangements digitally. Direct cremation is a clear example of this shift. Once a niche offering, it is becoming a more mainstream choice, reflecting changing attitudes towards end-of-life planning. Aura has been built specifically for this shift, combining a modern, digital experience with a strong focus on transparency, pricing clarity and customer support.
