The media attention was also reflected in interest from investors who have increasingly poured more money into mental health and wellness start-ups and have thus turned some of the more established companies into unicorns (with valuations over $1bn). Hence, Luminii Consulting’s decision to explore the investment opportunities for digital health to provide scalable business models and, in the process, provide not just a lifeline to those in need of immediate crisis support, but also facilitate an active participation of individuals in their own health journeys."
