COMMERCIAL DUE DILIGENCE (CDD)

Our CDD is centred around assessing a target’s commercial performance and future potential. We test the sustainability of the business model, competitive positioning, strength of customer relationships, market opportunity and growth alongside the top-line growth assumptions and achievability of management forecast. Our CDDs also provide actionable strategic recommendations to accelerate growth post-deal. We tailor the scope to meet clients’ key questions and focus on addressing the most pertinent questions or focus areas. We also provide pre-commercial due diligence where our clients require initial commercial insight on the market and target’s position within the market pre-exclusivity.

VALUE CREATION

We support our clients’ hands-on approach to build value in their portfolio companies by applying our core strategy development expertise to help portfolio companies refine their strategy, accelerate performance and sharpen operations. Our work ranges from customer segmentation, marketing or pricing analysis to new market entry strategy or bolt-on acquisition search.

ACQUISITION SEARCHES

We work with clients to define strategic acquisition search criteria and develop methodologies to assess the attractiveness of current off-market opportunities. We perform a well thought out and comprehensive methodology to screen the market and identify potential targets/bolt-ons that our clients are able to successfully pursue. Our screening also includes high-level due diligence and if required, we can lead initial enquiries/introductions.

VENDOR SUPPORT

Our vendor commercial due diligence articulates and tests the company growth plan, anticipating the concerns of potential investors. Our work is impartial and evidence-based, so it can be relied upon by both management and potential investors.
