Luminii provides CDD support to Maven on their investment in Blackdot Solutions

Luminii are delighted to have provided Commercial Due Diligence (CDD) support to Maven Capital Partners on their investment in an advanced intelligence and investigations platform provider, Blackdot Solutions.

Founded in 2013, Blackdot's SaaS platform Videris is used by clients to investigate risks and ensure regulatory compliance. The software sifts through publicly available data across the surface, deep and dark web specialising in risk identification and identity verification.

Videris is designed to revolutionise how organisations gather, analyse, and visualise data from public and proprietary sources. Trusted by a growing international client base spanning government, law enforcement, and large corporates. Videris empowers users to quickly and efficiently conduct secure investigations to identify threats, mitigate risk, and ensure compliance with complex regulatory standards.

The funding will enable Blackdot to increase headcount, with a focus on technical expertise and business development. The company also plans to enhance automation and AI capabilities within its product and scale its go-to-market strategy to drive growth in both existing and new markets.

Operating within the rapidly growing Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) market, which is projected to exceed $36 billion by 2030, Blackdot is well positioned to capitalise on rising demand for advanced data analysis and compliance tools. This surge is driven by heightened regulatory scrutiny, the need for efficient intelligence platforms, and a stronger focus on risk management.
